The Wee-Jees is different

This story needed to be told.

When I was a young kid I had the most extraordinary and frightening experience when my father was stationed in Germany. It all began with shadow figures that would appear in my room. At first, I thought I was the only one who could see them, but later when my friends and I adventured into the local forest, they saw them too. We would eventually call these dark, demonic souls, the Wee-Jees.

But little did we know, the Wee-Jees were only part of what haunted that forest.

After playing with a spirit-board, we followed the instructions we received from it to a hidden cave deep in the woods.  A cave no one could just happen upon without knowing it was there. What we found in that cave changed our relationships and our lives forever. It’s not hyperbole to say we were never the same again.

It’s haunted my nightmares ever since.
