The Harz Mountains have long been shrouded in mystery, but nothing could have prepared us for what we experienced inside this Haunted Hotel that looked like it was home to Alice in Nightmare Land. The eerie silence of the abandoned building was shattered by slamming doors, disembodied voices, and the most chilling encounter of all—a ghostly figure that looked unmistakably human moving through the building outlined by the light coming in from the window.
