Something unexpected happened when I recently posted a video documenting a recent expedition into the haunted forest where my latest book is based, viewers started sending me photos of what they saw in the video that could be paranormal.
Several of the photos are compelling and could even explain certain events that happened while I was up there.
Some are pretty damn terrifying too, so view what follows at your own risk! The last photo below creeps me out to think something like that was up there with me and I never saw it.
But maybe I heard it?
Below is the video for your to review, and below that are the most compelling screen captures that were sent to me and a link to the rest on Facebook. Keep in mind, as screen captures the quality is not the best and some have been blown up as to better view the anomalies.
If you see anything we missed, please let us know by going to the Facebook link and posting your screen capture and include the time on the video where you found it.
See what’s in them there woods!
The Yelling:
If you watched the video already, you know that when I first encountered the deer something had just spooked them and they sprinted up the mountain.
A few moments later another animal, possibly a fox, or maybe the same deer…or something else entirely, started making a crazy half-bark-half-yell sound. The sound absolutely freaked me out as evident in the video, but later viewers told me they think it was a fox.
Considering the most recent screen capture sent to me, I’m not so sure about the fox theory anymore.
So what caused all that ruckus in the first place?
Originally, I thought it was me that spooked the deer, but now upon closer inspection, it appears they were already spooked by something. Then, as I walked closer to where the deer had been, the strange bark-type yelling started.
But what I did not see, and has now been pointed out by several viewers, is that there was a shadow figure in the area! Possibly what I termed a “Wee-Jee” from my childhood–a shadow figure with yellow eyes.
But what I did not see and has now been pointed out by several viewers is that there was a shadow figure in the area!
The video provides compelling evidence; however, there are many reasons why “a shadow” could be in that location, the first of course being the direction of the sunlight. But viewers posted photos on Facebook with good reasons as to why the sun wasn’t the culprit and that it was a real shadow figure.
Be forewarned that these photos are creepy af.
The pictures that follow are screenshots. I highly recommend watching the video for yourself.
Keep in mind that last year I hiked up the mountain three times with photographers and we captured several crazy-compelling photographs of anomalies. Those photos are now published in a book available on Amazon. Feel free to purchase a copy to see that evidence and support this blog and further expeditions. Thanks!
We went because it’s the forest where my recently published book The Wee-Jees is based, and as far as I am concerned the forest is haunted, so I am not entirely surprised by these findings from viewers.
There is, of course, some debate as to whether these shadows are natural, such as bushes (there are bushes/branches in front of it) or otherwise, and they could be. I’m not convinced they are paranormal, but I’m also not concinvced they’re all bushes or natural shadows either.
Regardless, it’s clear the animals went crazy up there!
That’s the screenshots of the shadow figure.
The next one that was sent to me is the strange face-like matrixing on the ancient bench, which, although probably not paranormal, is really cool! I’ll admit, it’s freaky.
This next photo is quite interesting, even though possibly a reflection of light on a tree. With that said the tree trunk doesn’t look that wide and it does have a female disposition, almost angelic. What do you think?
In the next screenshot, the viewer told me she sees faces where the circles are, and I have to admit, when you watch the video as I walk around the bend, after the deer run up the mountain, they do appear to look like faces. However, it is most likely matrixing of the vegetation on video, but still creepy and, well, cool.
War, Death, and Desecrated Graves
Consider that during World War II entire nearby towns of women and children hid in the woods to escape the bombs falling from the sky, but the forest was nonetheless carpeted with dropped bombs, and too many to count died thinking they were safe in the woods. When you walk in this forest you can’t walk 20 feet without encountering a bomb’s crater and they’re still finding unexploded ordnance in the area!
Furthermore, through exhaustive research, I discovered that there are castle ruins deeper in the forest AND ancient Roman burial grounds from when the area was part of the Holy Roman Empire. Recently, I went on another expedition to the burial grounds and filmed it. You can watch that video here.
And The Most Compelling is:
Now for the most compelling photo and the one that spooked me when I saw it for the first time.
It still creeps me out to think whatever this is was up there with me and I never saw it. Unlike a shadow, in this screen capture it looks physical and it’s in the area where the yelling-bark came from! Did this thing make those sounds and cause the deer to freak out? The thought is chilling.
I don’t know what that is in the photo, it looks like someone in a long white hoody or rain slicker! However, it’s only there for a split second, and then when the camera continues to pan it disappears. I’ve never seen anything like it before and would prefer not to see anything like it again! It could be a Wee-Jee but in white!
I’m amazed that the person who posted this on Facebook even saw it since it’s there only for an instant. It appears around the 2:30ish mark. It helps to watch it in slow motion, if possible. To be honest, when I first saw the screen capture I thought she was pulling my leg, but after I rewatched the video countless times I finally found it and my whole body got covered in goosebumps the moment I saw it!
I mean, I was F’ing up there with that thing! And it’s very obvious in the video that something was causing a ruckus!
There are many more photos being added on Facebook where the original video was posted. You can view them here and watch the video yourself, make up your own mind and, if you happen to see something strange in the video, post your own screenshots, just make sure you circle whatever you find and add the time in the video when you did the screen capture.
Pretty wild, don’t you think?
