I never expected to capture what we captured in our photographs, and I am beyond astounded.
In a very real sense, I feel validated.
Not long ago, when taking photos of the actual locations where the events took place in my book, The Wee-Jees, we captured some very strange things in our pictures. We don’t know for certain what all of the anomalies are but we have our suspicions, and in the following video, I share a couple of the photos that went viral across social media, especially “THE Orb” shot.
Please note, the full collection of photos are available in my new book Paranormal Evidence Inside The Haunted Forest.
The photos from our docu-trips are amazing and show something else is out there, including a photo of the shadow figure standing by a tree (which you can briefly see in the video).
You should also consider following my Facebook page because I post announcements, photos, and new videos there on a regular basis. We currently have over 12,000 followers/members.
Here’s the now-famous Orb photo:
For some background, my book, The Wee-Jees, is based on true events from my youth that took place in the haunted forest behind my childhood home.
Based on our photographic and firsthand evidence, the forest is still very haunted.
Professionals in the paranormal field have said such anomalies as what we have captured in our photos can be residual, or even intelligent, hauntings, and are typically found in exceptionally haunted locations. We also experienced audible events that we cannot prove what they were; however, we are sure the majority were normal forest/animal noises.
Tip: Listen to the frightening ‘groan’ sound in the video, it happens just a moment before I leave the cave. It freaked me out when I heard it while watching the video back. You’ll have to turn up your sound to hear it.
Why We Took Photos
After I finally finished The Wee-Jees and it was with the editor, I became restless and came up with the idea that I should get pictures of the locations for readers to see and have a better idea of what the surroundings look like there.
We never expected to capture anything more than the landscape.
I had not been back to that forest in years, and considering the events took place some 30 plus years ago, I forgot how haunted it really is.
Don’t misunderstand me, I was able to write about the events in detail, I remember the events all too well, but there’s a HUGE difference between sitting in the comfort of your home writing, and actually, physically, walking those old haunted paths.
The Orb Photo Started it All
Wait–what?! Let me rephrase, the Orb photo started my crusade to start documenting and sharing my expeditions to castles, ancient ruins, and haunted locations throughout Europe. The Orb photo was the first photo that captured an unexplained anomaly inside the haunted forest where the book The Wee-Jees is based. It’s when I realized that it is possible to document hauntings! I never believed it possible before.
And the crazy thing is, it’s just ONE OF THE PHOTOS! The photographer I was with, her camera was on fire that day and she tells me it’s the only time she’s ever caught such anomalies in her photos. You can get the book where all of the photos are presented and judge for yourself what the anomalies might be or could be, or maybe even get a sense of what they are.
I have since captured apparitions and many other anomalies in photographs and on video in other locations, almost as if they are attracted to me and want to show themselves or be heard.
So, yes, in a very real sense the Orb photo started this blog, my videos, and all the expeditions that I have taken since then. It lit a fire in my curiosity, my desire to explore and learn, to see, and experience ‘other things.’ I love getting out there and searching, and adventuring, most especially in places that aren’t as well known but are just as interesting and mysterious as anywhere else.
