This wasn’t just any cave. Local legends say it was once the first Christian church in the Harz region, and archaeologists even uncovered a skeleton buried within the altar. The cave’s entrance also served as a mass grave, where countless bodies were laid to rest. Over the centuries, whispers of witch covens, hunters, and rituals have surrounded this mysterious site — giving it a reputation as one of the most haunted places in Germany.

When my team and I began our daytime exploration, the energy was already unsettling. But at night, during our paranormal investigation and ghost hunt, things took a shocking turn. Strange noises echoed through the dark, our equipment reacted in ways we couldn’t explain, and then — we may have captured something extraordinary on video: real evidence linking this cave to ancient alien activity.
