Where Joan of Arc Was Burned to Death / Killed in Rouen, France

I had the honor of visiting Rouen, France where Joan of Arc was tragically killed for dressing like a man and listening and talking with Satan (according to the trial). She was burned as a witch.

Although Rouen is known for the horrible end of Joan of Arc’s life, it’s also famous for Rollo the Viking and King Richard the Lionheart, both entombed in Rouen’s cathedral (King Richard’s heart). Rouen is also known for a mummified cat entombed in the wall of Aitre St. Maclou, an ancient ossuary.
