There are many haunted castles in Germany. Germany has around 30,000 castles, and most have reports of hauntings, many specifically, The Lady in White. One of those castles is in Dahn, there’s Alt Dahn and Neu Dahn castles both share the true story of a robber baron who kept innocent prisoners for ransom, letting them rot to death in the dungeon. After the robber baron was arrested and beheaded the dungeon was opened and all that was found were dead bodies still chained to the walls. It was a horror beyond horrors.
Erik and I explored Neu Dahn Castle twice! In the first video below, I’m there during the day alone, and in the second video, Erik and I visited early in the morning during the Witching Hour.
